Tell A Friend:

Letters From Readers

Dear Paul,

I just finished reading your book. I took my time and read no more than a few pages each day to assimilate the information and to fill my mind with the magnificent sights of our Universe they contain. I would like to congratulate you and to thank you for the most enjoyable time I had going through your book. I always look at a page chosen at random each evening before going to bed. A nice way to dream about being a cosmonaut traveling in our Universe. In my library, your book is in some way like the star my parents used to put on top of our Christmas trees. A nice companion to be with and to look at daily.

I am now reading "Le visage de Dieu" written by the Bogdanov brothers and published last May by Grasset. I hope this book as well as their other books on cosmology will be translated one day in English. Like "The Secret Doorway", it is a book for the layman which avoids over-simplication. I will not be surprised if one day you write another book providing readers with additional information and photographs obtained about the recently discovered giant star R136a1 and also with the Planck satellite. I think it is Edgar Allan Poe who wrote one day that a person must die to see our Creator. Your book is a good way to start seeing Him partly right now.

I took comfort from your book. I lost my wife a year ago. She died from cancer which I am fighting myself at 78 years of age. So far so good. I am looking forward to knowing Whoever gave us such a beautiful Universe to live in and enjoy. Your book convinced me once more about such a new beginning for all of us.

Best regards to a man I admire for what he has accomplished so far in life.
