Q. Is this book based on real science ?

A. Yes, most of the information contained in the Secret Doorway was taken from news releases from NASA pertaining to discoveries made by the Hubble and Spitzer telescopes.

Q. Are the images in the book actual photographs from space?

A. Most of the images are live visual or infrared photographs taken by the Hubble or Spitzer telescope. However some of the images are artist renderings that translate the data from the telescopes.

Q. Where actually is the Hubble telescope?

A. The Hubble is in orbit around the earth about 350 miles above it. It makes one trip around the earth every 97 minutes. To track Hubble click on this link: http://science.nasa.gov/realtime/GIFTrack/giftrack_frames/frameset.htm

Q. I notice you have one quote from the Bible, is this book about religion?

A. No, not at all. Being familiar with a profound passage from the book of Isaiah I felt compelled to publish the link between the unimaginable energy source behind the design of the universe and a very curious invitation recorded  2700 years ago in the book of Isaiah where he invites us to Look up into the heavens, and see who created all the stars.

Q. Do you believe that the space technology we have today is from God, to show how us his power and incredible creation?

A. No one can really say for sure, but one thing is certain. Out of all the generations that have lived we are the only ones that have been privileged to have this technology to look upon things beyond anything man could have ever imagined. We are discovering things out in the universe so powerful and beyond our comprehension that it certainly makes you wonder.

Q. You quote Einstein, do you think he was onto something when he said Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions?

A. When you think about it, imagination is the starting point of everything. Life’s experience shows that we bring nothing into existence without imagining it first. A song, a book, a poem, an invention are all seen and heard through the imagination before they ever become reality, thus we imagine life’s coming attractions if me carry out what we conceived in our mind.  A good example is the Wright brothers. They imagined they could fly in the air like the birds long before what they imagined became life’s reality. Their imagination gave them a preview of life’s coming attractions (human flight).

What Einstein didn’t tell us is that our imagination can be used for good or bad. Since our future and life’s coming attractions rely upon what we first can imagine, then I say we need to be careful about what we allow ourselves to imagine. It’s man’s poor use of imagination that has caused humanity so much trouble and put this planet in peril.

Q. Are the Heavenly Creations on canvas art renderings, or actual live photos of space?

A. All the images are actual photos of live galaxies, stars, and nebula in space, billions of miles away taken by the Hubble and Spitzer space telescopes and are reproduced onto canvas. What you see on the canvas is a photo reflection of the real things.

Q. What is a Giclée?

A. A Giclée is the process of making a fine art print from a digital source using ink-jet printing onto a canvas. This process is often used by artist to reproduce their original work onto canvas to sell multiple copies of the original.

Q. Are the canvases available with the black and gold frames that they are displayed in on your website?

A. No, we only offer the Giclées stretched onto standard or gallery wrapped wooden inner frames. We have displayed the images in the gold and black frames just to give you an idea how they will look framed. We do not sell finished frames. If you choose to have them framed it is best to take you stretched canvas to a local frame store for a frame that will best match your homes décor.

Q. What is a Gallery Wrap frame?

A. A gallery wrap is when the canvas is stretched over an inner wooden frame (generally 1.5” thick) where part of the image will wrap over the side edges. A gallery wrapped image may be hung on the wall without an outer frame. See Example Gallery Wrap

Q. What is a standard wrap frame?

A. A standard wrap is when the canvas is stretched over an inner wooden frame (generally ¾ “ thick) where the edge is white with no image on it. A standard wrapped image is when you plan to put the image into an outer frame that you would purchase from a local frame shop. See example Standard Frame Wrap
